Snazzyin Trend Radar Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Snazzyin Trend Radar accesses, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when an authorized user connects the application to a Google account.

Snazzyin Trend Radar is a private desktop research tool operated by Snazzyin.

1. Information the App Accesses

Google Sheets data

The application requests access to Google Sheets in order to:

Create and configure the Snazzyin Trend Radar spreadsheet.
Read creator lists, keyword lists, collection priorities, enabled settings, and collection rules entered in the spreadsheet.
Write collected TikTok video links, creator names, public engagement metrics, source information, trend scores, and collection history to the spreadsheet.
Read the spreadsheet after writing in order to verify that the results were saved correctly.

Google Drive data

The application uses the Google Drive drive.file permission. This permission allows the application to access only Google Drive files and folders that the application creates or that the user explicitly opens with the application.

The application uses this permission to:

Create and manage the Snazzyin Trend Radar Google Sheet.
Create a folder named “Snazzyin Trend Radar Covers.”
Upload publicly available TikTok cover images to that folder.
Reuse and delete cover-cache files created by the application.
Export the Trend Radar spreadsheet as a local Excel recovery backup.

The application does not request permission to read all files in the user’s Google Drive.

Public TikTok data

The application may process publicly visible TikTok information, including:

Video URLs
Creator names
Posting times
View, like, comment, share, and save counts
Public cover images
The creator or keyword source through which a video was discovered

The application does not collect TikTok passwords, private messages, payment details, or private account information.

2. How Information Is Used

Information accessed through Google APIs is used only to provide the user-facing features of Snazzyin Trend Radar, including:

Reading the user’s selected creators, keywords, and collection rules.
Organizing and ranking public TikTok trend results.
Publishing results to the user’s Google Sheet.
Displaying public video cover images in the spreadsheet.
Maintaining collection history and preventing duplicate entries.
Creating local Excel recovery backups.
Diagnosing errors and verifying successful publication.

Google user data is not used for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or unrelated analytics.

3. How Information Is Stored

OAuth credentials are stored locally on the authorized user’s Mac and are not stored on the Snazzyin website.

Trend Radar results are stored in:

The Google Sheet owned by the authorized Google account.
An app-created Google Drive folder used for cover images.
Local application data used for collection history and resumable progress.
Local Excel recovery backups created by the application.

The application does not operate a remote database that receives Google account data.

4. Cover Image Visibility

To allow Google Sheets to display TikTok cover images, cover-image files uploaded by the application may be configured so that anyone who has the file link can view the image.

These files contain publicly available TikTok cover images only. They are not intended to contain private or sensitive Google user data.

The application does not make the user’s Google Sheet publicly accessible.

5. Information Sharing

Snazzyin Trend Radar does not sell, rent, or trade Google user data.

Google user data is not shared with advertising platforms, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Information may be disclosed only when:

The authorized user directs the application to store information in their own Google account.
Disclosure is required by applicable law.
It is necessary to investigate a security incident or protect the application and its users.

Google API data is handled in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Trend Radar collection history and app-created cover-cache files may be retained for up to 90 days, according to the application’s configured retention rules.

The authorized user can delete Google data created by the application by:

Deleting the Snazzyin Trend Radar Google Sheet.
Deleting the “Snazzyin Trend Radar Covers” folder.
Revoking the application’s Google Account access.
Deleting the locally stored OAuth token and local application data.

Local Excel backups remain on the authorized user’s computer until the user deletes them.

7. Data Security

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect Google user data, including:

Storing OAuth credentials locally with restricted file permissions.
Using encrypted HTTPS connections when communicating with Google APIs.
Requesting only the Google permissions required by the application.
Avoiding the logging of passwords, complete OAuth tokens, or complete cookie values.
Restricting access to the authorized user’s Google account and app-created files.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

8. Children’s Privacy

Snazzyin Trend Radar is a business research tool and is not directed to children under 13. The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application’s functionality or data-handling practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.

If a change materially affects how Google user data is accessed or used, affected users will be informed before the new use begins.
